Peacock in the snow
This look started with the skirt, part of the Vanidad set that got launched by Indyra Originals at the clothing fair. It hangs beautifully, like heavy silk or fine velvet. This was a great excuse to haul out two of my favourites: Talisman’s Hera Earrings and the Feather necklace by Yummy. The earrings will set you back a whole Linden! I think Talisman does great value earrings, as the pieces are striking but not gaudy.
To set off these, I needed a fairly plain top, and I eventually dug this Pixeldolls standard from my inventory. I like the layered look, and it has both the green and blue tints of a peacock feather. I went to check at Pixeldolls to make sure it was still there, and you find the Wraith tops in the bargain section, 10 Linden for six colours (it also has prim sleeves, which I didn’t use here).
The new item I’m wearing are the G.Field boots, which are great. None of the coloured boots were quite right, so I ended up with black, and it wasn’t til I got them home that I realised that they were really customisable. You can colour change the side parts (I changed them to blue), the laces and the eyelet holes.
The wintery shots were taken in Zero Style (which has the cutest deer to pose with) and the others in Drowsy, which I love to visit with the changing seasons. I’m sitting on a monster’s nose in the 2nd picture.

Peacock in Drowsy

It’s still pretty cold where I am, so I made a “sensible” take on spring: some flowers, no jacket, but covered up to keep out the chill. One of the lovely things about this skirt is how flippy it is as you move, and in the first picture you can see the pretty broderie anglaise edging to the skirt as well. My only criticism is that the belt is no mod, and it was impossible to get it positioned so it didn’t cut into my waist at some point. I’m using a dance pole in Juicy, with hair from Simply Britnee.
I also liked the outfit with the recent Marguerite hair from Truth, since the hair flower picked up the motif from the Ulla shirt, so I have shown both hairstyles.
