Moon still seems to have its 50% off sale of hair in its mainstore. Their newer hair has a nice range of blues available via a HUD (I bought the “Erratic” pack), and I liked this long hat hair called “Thimble”. You get versions with the hat and without it. You can change the colour of the hatband (but not by much, to be honest, as it is a pale leather colour to start with and so the colour options on that HUD are a bit misleading: however this is a very minor point).

I was looking in my inventory for a recently bought dress (I’m afraid I have all my dresses in a folder called “dresses” which isn’t much help) when I came across the Coco boat necked dress which I’m not sure I even wore after buying it at The Season’s Story in the summer (or was it even spring?). It’s lovely, so decided to wear it with the oodles of jewelry I got at collabor88 and suede boots from the current Chapter Four. With this dress I think system tights work very well, and I choose a pair from a pack I got from Zaara years ago.

I spent a while gazing at this dress: it is so simple, but works so well.

Today is Remembrance Day here in the UK, and so I’m wearing a remembrance day poppy in SL, and also set up this poppy giver and a link to the First World War poetry sim. My grandfather was taken prisoner in the first World War, but he survived, as did my parents who both served in the Second World War.

As soon as I saw there was a new onepiece from Potcha, at the latest round of Kustom 9, I went to grab it. There’s a thick cosy cardigan, over a simple long sleeved cotton tunic dress, and because the cardigan is so thick, I think it will also go over some other mesh tops without too much showing through. My normal hair is blue, but playing round with the demo HUD (I LOVE hair demo HUDs that let you try all the colours!) this shade of blonde+pink went so well with the cardigan I’m wearing it for a while. However, before that I was using the Olinda hair from Truth, again in pink, worn in the picture below where I’m flirting with a darrrk spirit!
